Even Tony Stark makes time for Wall Street...

Today, Robert Downey, Jr.—along with Marvel executives Rob Steffens, Josh Silverman, Ken West and Dan Buckley—sounded the opening bell that begins trading at the New York Stock Exchange. Noreen Culhane, a New York Stock Exchange EVP joined them at the bell ringing.

The honor arrived just in time for the movie's opening this Friday, May 2.

It is amazing what they will do for a great photo op. I didn't realize that opening the day's trading was like throwing the first pitch at a baseball game. (it is a symbolic and honorary position)...

They should have had him at the Mojave Spaceport, where Virgin is building spaceplanes. That's the kind of cool, high-tech thing I can see Stark doing. And it's also the setting of my FF fan fic.
