Significant Issues
Taken from the future, fought Thor as a pawn of Zarkko (Thor #440); first criminal activities stopped by Thor (Eric Masterson) (Thor #458); appeared with Masters of Evil, defeated by Thunderbolts (Thunderbolts #24-25)

When Zarrko the Tomorrow Man hoped to absorb the mystical power from the hammers of Thor (Eric Masterson) and Dargo, he was stopped by Beta Ray Bill. The three heroes banded together to confront Zarrko, who used his time-traveling powers to summon a number of Thor’s adversaries from the future to battle them. Among them was Shatterfist, a foe Thor had yet to encounter.

Months later, Thor happened upon Shatterfist (calling himself Power Glove) for the first time. The criminal had somehow obtained the power glove and led his group of thieves in robbing a bank. Hearing Thor calling him by the name Shatterfist, the villain decided that was a better choice and turned to fight him. Ultimately, Thor defeated Shatterfist and his gang.

Shatterfist was later somehow contacted by the Crimson Cowl to join her assemblage of villains in the largest version of the Masters of Evil at the time. The Masters embarked on a most ambitious plan: extorting a huge fortune in blackmail money from the world's governments by subjecting various major cities to phenomenally powerful artificial storms. While this kept heroes around the world occupied by forcing them to deal with the effects of the storms, the Thunderbolts confronted the villains at their headquarters at Mount Charteris, Colorado. After the final battle, Shatterfist and the others were defeated and placed in custody.
